Coat Swiper

by sunnyfong

From T, New York Times’ magazine:
After his most cherished jacket was nicked in a crowded London pub a decade ago, he turned vigilante, stealing hundreds of vulnerable coats from London watering holes. He then catalogued the coats and their contents like a true ethnographer and presented his … umm … findings this week at the Frieze Art fair in the installation “Whose Coat Is That Jacket You’re Wearing?” with the intent of reuniting them with their rightful owners.

I get that it’s conceptual and a statement about ownership, the banality of objects and … Oh forget it, I’m not even going to justify it.

What a jackass!!!
